Thalictrum thalictroides / Rue Anemone

One of the classic spring wildflowers of dry woods, emerging as the forest floor warms in the sun of early spring, before the canopy leafs out. Delicate foliage with blooms that emerge as pink and mature to white.

Unlike more ephemeral spring wildflowers, the foliage persists at least until summer droughts.
