Rubus idaeus var. strigosus / Red Raspberry

The native variety (var. strigosus) of the wild ancestor of the domesticated red raspberry. Our plants come directly from a delicious wild population we sampled extensively (delicious!) in the Catskills of New York.

Raspberry leaf tea is vitamin and mineral rich. Traditionally, it has been used as an astringent toner for the uterus, and a gentle remedy for stomach complaints including diarrhea.
