Phlox subulata / Moss Phlox

This little beauty is a low herb native to dry, rocky outcroppings and thin soils. It is a versatile ground cover in well-drained soils and can tolerate hot, dry conditions. It blooms profusely with notched pink flowers. Ours is a native strain propagated from a wild population on the ridge behind our farm.
