Shipping and Pickup Information

We offer both mail order and local pickup options.

Mail Order: We ship once a week at the beginning of the week. Shipping charges are as follows: $15 shipping and handling base fee, plus $2 for each individual plant. Oversize plants (woody species in containers larger than our standard quart size, such as gallons) cost an additional $5 per plant. We offer shipping to CT, DE, DC, GA, IL, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, and WV. Orders from AZ and TX are also accepted; the per-plant shipping cost goes up by a dollar.

Local Pickup: For customers who wish to pick up plants at our farm in Pohatcong, NJ 08865. Fill your shopping cart, then:

1. Go into your shopping cart (select “View Cart” rather than “Checkout”)
2. Click on “Calculate Shipping”
3. Enter state/town/zip
4. Select the “Local Delivery” option

To set up a time to pick up your plants, please use the “Notes” field when you check out to specify a phone number or email address for us to get in touch with you. You can also put in some ideal dates or times if you wish. Alternately, feel free to call us at 908 319 7230 or email nursery @ wildridgeplants.com to set up a visit. We’ll send you our address and directions when you get in touch.

Cancellation, Return, & Guarantee Policies of Wild Ridge Plants, LLC

By ordering from Wild Ridge Plants, LLC, you will receive healthy plants that are true to name. We cannot guarantee successful growth after planting. Please feel free, however, to contact us with any concerns or questions. We may be able to help. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Retail Mail Order

Upon receipt of a shipment, please inspect while the delivery driver is present. In the case of damage or errors, please contact us within 5 days.

Most orders placed during the dormant season (typically December through mid-April) will ship when the nursery resumes operations (typically between late April and early May). Some orders may be held until plants are fully emerged from dormancy.

Orders placed during the growing season will be shipped during optimal shipping conditions. Orders may be held in cases of extreme weather conditions.

Retail Orders Pick Up

Most orders placed during the dormant season (typically December through mid-April) are to be picked up when the nursery resumes operations (typically between late April and early May). Some orders may be held until plants are fully emerged from dormancy.

Unless prior arrangements have been made with the nursery, pre-paid orders must be picked up within 2 weeks of purchase. No refunds are available for orders not picked up within the pick up window of 2 weeks.

Pick up is available most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday mornings. We will confirm your order and arrange a pick up date/time with you.

Retail Cancellations and Returns

Once placed, orders are non-refundable.

Shipped Plants are non-returnable.
