Ribes rotundifolium / Appalachian Gooseberry

A native gooseberry found on edges and in rocky woodlands, this is a low armed shrub with tasty edible fruit. Flowers are utilized by hummingbirds and bees. Host plant for the Gray Comma, and several moth species.
